Navigation laws et al on the Tideway (Upper)

The section is sub-divided into Incidents, Lights, "General" and Steering. There will soon be a section on the Salvage Association Risk Assessment.

This section of pages on the "Tideway" is required reading for all persons,  but particularly for coxes and steerspersons of coxless boats and scullers.

This is one of the two sections mentioned in the Safety secton as being mandatory reading and requiring confirmation in writing in order to use any TRC boat.

The text to be used for such confirmation to me is as follows

"I have read all the 'Mandatory Tideway' and 'Mandatory Club' information on the website http://thamesrc.atics.co.uk/cms/safety "

So far about 190 have signed and 130, mainly women and lone scullers, have not and are in breach of the Captain's requirements to do this before using TRC boats.
